Please Touch!

Saturday morning, we wake up and Daddy asks, "What do you want to do today?" Alex answers, "Go to the museum where we can play with everything". She means the Please Touch Museum in Philly. Now, we've only been there one other time and that was 11-5-2007. For a whole year, she randomly asks to go back. It amazes me that she even remembers. So we say, why not, let's go! The museum moved since we were last there and now it is much bigger. We spent 4 1/2 hours there and still felt rushed. There's so much to do.
We took photos on the swan, walked the tiny Alice in Wonderland hallway, milked a cow,Joey mowed the lawn, Alex built a nest,we played with water, dug with the diggers, built a rocket,
slid down slides,

hopped on Lily pads,
Joey piloted a boat, and played with trains,
Alex and Joey ran the mouse wheel (Alex did much better than Joey),
and built airplanes and tested them in flight.
We also had lunch, saw a magic show, rode the carousel, walked the village, crawled through tunnels, pretended to ride a monorail and septa bus, worked a food cart in the park, posed as the Statue of Liberty, rode a turtle, had tea, hung laundry, went to school, worked in a nursery, tried on shoes at the shoe store, and saw all the Mommy's and Joey's and Alex's and Daddy's. I know there's more but my brain just didn't retain it all. All that and by far, my favorite was the grocery store. Alex was the shopper and Daddy and Joey were the workers.
Here's Joey serving Alex fresh breadand mopping the floor. He should be employee of the month! Here's Alex patiently waiting in the check out line. The grocery store was hectic.

Bon Voyage Please Touch Museum! (Alex took this photo) Even though it was very busy, we had a really great time! Until next time...
