Weighing In

I don't like to talk about my weight battles on such as public forum because I have failed at weight loss so many times. In fact, this is my 6th time joining weight watchers and haven't really advertised it because it is my 6th time and I've failed the other 5 times. I lost weight, but I've gained it back too. So, how do I succeed this time? I'm not sure but I've started bike riding and I am in my 5th week of weight watchers and am down 7.6lbs. However, I still have a long way to go and will not celebrate or be happy until I at least get down to where I was when I quit last time which is 24.2 lbs more to go. It's a long road but I can do it. I just need to keep it off.

The One That Made Me Cry

I'll admit, it doesn't always take much but usually I need a little more of a story line. The other night on "So You Think You Can Dance" I balled my eyes out during and after watching this dance. This is Melissa and Ade. The story is, she has cancer. Watch, it's beautiful.

Baby Parade

The Girl Scouts led Sea Isle's Baby Parade last week. Not many girls showed up but it was neat for them anyway. A few of the girl scouts from Alex's school
We had lunch with Gemma

Joey's Mustache and Out to Dinner

Joey still naps in the late afternoon occassionally. The other day, Brodie asks Alex if she wants to put a mustache on Joey. Of course she says yes. Now Camryn, Alex, and Joey have woken up in our house with a mustache. Who's next?
We went out to dinner and just took a couple of pictures

Random Bad Pic

OK so we never post bad pictures of ourselves but I thought it looks pretty funny. I happened to go through pictures Brodie has taken on his camera. So what in the heck was I doing in this picture. I kinda remember the incident but I don't remember Brodie taking a picture. I think Alex was hurt and crying and i picked her up and hugged her. Other than that, I'm clueless. Hope you thought it's a funny face too!

Ocean City with Camryn, Evin, and Emee

A couple of weeks ago, Camryn, Evin, and Emee spent the night and we went to a fundraiser at Playland's pier in Ocean City. They had $10 wrist bands for 4 hours. It was busy but we didn't have to wait too long. Joey and Emee

Brodie riding in the kiddie helicopter
This is the Hurricane. Alex and Emee didn't really like this ride. I was surprised because my punkin has become quite the daredevil.
Joey and Mommy riding the train.
Alex, Gavin, and Emee. Gavin is the cutest little boy that Alex went to school with who is a little sweet on Alex. He told his Mommy that Alex makes him feel a little funny. OMG right? Aren't they too young for that? Anyway, his mom has told me how the little girls act funny around him. They chase him around and stuff. Alex does not, that 's probably why he likes her. But I saw it first hand with Emily. She initially was laying her head on his shoulder for the picture but he didn't like it so I told her to stop. When she first saw him, she got giggly and within minutes, she began to chase him around. No way. She's only five. Guess I gotta watch out for my baby girl. She had a couple of boyfriends.

Random Alex and Joey

Congrats Tiffany!

Tiffany graduated on the 22nd of June. She had a graduation party but I forgot my camera so here's her senior picture. She will be attending Cumberland County College in the fall. We made tiff a candy gram

Bendy La Rue

Alex had her Gymnastics recital on the 19th of June. Of course I forgot my camera but they had someone there taking photos. The show was cute. However, Alex missed rehersal because she was throwing up and apparantly, her teacher put someone else in her spot so she spent the first minute trying to figure out where to go. By the time she got there, she missed her chin stand (she was 1 of 4 out of 9 that could do it). Disappointing because it took her forever to figure out where the rest of the class was in the routine then it was time to head off the stage. Oh well. The good thing is, she was selected to be on the pre-team because of her abilities and potential. We had to decline for financial reasons and time restrictions. Anyway, here are her photos:

Toby Keith

My friend Tracy won tickets on a radio station to see Toby Keith and invited me to come with her. It was a very good show. It was worth the trip to North Jersey. He really puts on a good show! Terry (Tracy's sister and Tracy)
