Like Father, Like Son

It was time for Brodie to get a haircut. So he wanted to shave Joey's head so Joey could be just like him.BEFORE
Joey didn't really want to get his haircut. He might've been a little nervous too. So Brodie let him shave his head. Here's a video.

Joey makes the funniest faces. He did not want his hair cut. Take notice of Brodie's hair.

Here's Joey getting buzzed.

Alex's 1st T-Ball Game!

Saturday was Alex's very 1st ever T-Ball game. To give you and idea how a T-Ball game goes, Every player hits the ball 3 times and the last kid at bat gets the home run. No one is ever out, although some kids have played before and still try and tag the other team member out. It takes about an hour. Very cute.
We started off being late and forgetting her hat. Luckily, her team was in the outfield so she didn't miss her turn at bat. Anyway, I left her there with one of the Moms I knew and went home to get her hat. We return and she is in the field so I missed her very 1st at bat. Joey does not want to get out of the car. He was tired and I understood. We were parked right in front of the game so I ran the hat over, took this picture and went back to car to try to convince him to get out. I saw her second bat but was too far to get a good picture. Joey finally decides he'll cooperate and get out. As I'm watching the game, not completely paying attention to him, I hear, "Look at that kid" and my boy is walking the white line around the field near the batter as he was getting ready to hit. Finally, I desperately tried to get a good video of her at her third bat and failed miserably. All I got was a swing and miss and I missed the hit. Oh well, next time. Did I mention that Alex is the only girl on the team =)

I Can Sing a Rainbow

Red and yellow and pink and green,
purple and orange and blue.
I can sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow too.
It is rare that I see a rainbow and am able to capture it on film. In fact, this is the first. Of course, this is not the best but a rainbow is beautiful no matter what. We happened to catch it after Alex's gymnastics class last night.

We're Proud New Parents of... TURKEYS!

We have been incubaed turkey eggs for 28 days (that includes turning them 3 times a day) and on Tuesday, our first baby was born. Laura named it Twilight. We put the video on youtube. You can hear the children and Brodie and I in the background. Another 6 were born through the night and the seventh and final turkey was born Wednesday morning. They're so cute!

This is what they look like today at 3 days old:
This is our next batch of 36, due in 2 weeks:

This is a little lengthy but cute

Easter Morning

Alex was the first one down stairs Easter morning. I ran ahead of her trying to catch her reaction. This doesn't look very excited but she was. She then looked into the living room and said "The Easter Bunny didn't hide any eggs." I said, "I think he did. You just can't see them without the lights on. Go get your brother." I was up until 1:00 and forgot to do eggs. GRRRR! So I quickly threw together 10 eggs and hid them and still had time to spare.

This is Joey's Spencer train that he got in his basket. He also got Gordon. Despite the face, he was very excited. Alex got a 6 month Club Penguin membership (which she has played on every day of her vacation) and a Radio Disney CD. She loved her basket also.

Easter with the Campbell's 2009

We like to split the holidays between families. It makes traveling easier and we get to spend the whole day with each of our families. This is Easter at Mom and Dad Campbell's on saturday. I took lots of photos. Joey, Alex, and Brianne

Rub a Dub Dub, Two Men in a Tub

My kids are 4 & 5 and still love the bathtub. Obviously, they still bathe together too but that's besides the point. Alex prefers to take a shower but hardly ever opposes a bath. This day, they spent an exceptionally long time in the tub. Alex asked for this photo op so I'm sharing."MOM! Come take Joey's picture!" Hey, my boy really does smile.

Alex: "Now take it off. Say Good Day" Joey: "Good Day"

My Reverant Child

You didn't think it was Joey did ya. He can't even keep his eyes closed during prayer. Anyway, Alex's school chooses a child from each class who excels in different areas. Alex was chosen for reverance. We are very proud!

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

On the 4th, Alex's school had breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream and sprinkles and a side of sausage. My children were in heaven. Then they got there picture with the Easter Bunny and had an Easter egg hunt. It was fun.
My Punkin
My Little Man
This is a typical picture of my children. Alex looks everywhere but at me and Joey looks at his feet. The picture the school took turned out much nicer.
Here's Alex running out to the Easter egg hunt. It was very windy.
Believe it or not, Joey is in this picture. He's the little one in the middle wearing a blue coat.

Alex is the one on his back and Joey is on the groundThere is an infatuation with my brother's hat. Alex happened to snag it here and is running for her life. Although she is fast, she could not outrun my brother. Here, Camryn has managed to get it. She's a little harder to catch. Fun! Fun!

Brianne's 4th Birthday

Brianne's Birthday was forever ago and I am so behind on my posts. Anyway, her party was on March 21st which is the day of her birthday and both sides of the family got together for her party to celebrate. She wore the prettiest little dress, like she does every year. Why I do not buy my punkin a pretty little dress for her birthday is beyond me. Maybe I'll start. I'll forget by November I'm sure. Anyway, I wanted to share some photos. The children are so cute and I love when we get together.
The Birthday Girl getting ready to blow out her candles. There were Easter eggs hidden all over the house. This is Joey with his mouth stuffed with candy.
Brianne got Tinkerbelle dress up clothes for her birthday. She and Alex dressed up right away!
She also got ballet classes, leotard and slippers from her grandparents on her Mom's side. She loved it. She put the slippers on and started dancing.
The kids limboed. This is Alex and Laura.
They live in Collegeville PA so the drive was a little far and we always hit traffic, but we had a great day. Thanks, Brianne, for sharing your big day with us. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Brianne! We love you!
