Mommom's birthday

Alex got a sleep mask with a pair of PJ's I bought her this summer. She loves it! She wears it every night when she doesn't fall asleep first. She even bought me one for my birthday. We took hers camping and couldn't find it when we got back so she wore mine. With that said, when we deciede to make Mommom's birthday present, Alex knew what she wanted as soon as she saw it. We made Mommom's sleep mask with a little velvet, flaxseed, glue, ribbon, googly eyes, and a black marker.
Here's a close up. Mommom loved it and Alex was so proud of her choice!
By the way, Mom. You're the bestes Mother-In-Law a girl could have. I am greatful for you every day. And especially greatful that you are my children's grandmother. Happy Birthday!

Thanksgiving and so forth

Alex's beautiful Thanksgiving bread basketAlex made this beautiful basket at Girl Scouts. Joey contributed on feather which is hard to see here. It has a spider on it. The whole family enjoyed it!

Thanksgiving at Mom Campbell's

I didn't take too many pictures on Thanksgiving day (annoying) but here they are anyway.
Brianne, Alex and Joey. Not the best picture of Brianne but they all are still so cute! Steffie and Thomas. So Cute!
I love this picture of Joey because he is posing and actually smiling.
Sarah would not take her fingers out of her mouth...she still looked very pretty.
Other than the disagreement on what we should do for Christmas as far as presents... polyanna, white elephant, etc., It was a great time with great food and great company. I always enjoy spending time with family and the kids love hanging with the cousins. BTW, we are doing a polyanna with the younger kids and the adults are doing a "white elephant". Should be fun, I already have my present! Exciting! I'm not scared!

Thanksgiving with Kindergarten and Pre-K

Earlier in the week, I went to Joey's class to make turkey cupcakes. The kids always love this. A little messy but always tasty. Joey's turkey looked very similar to last year's turkey (except it was a little neater)

This is Joey's friend... at least the only one he mentions when you ask him who his friends are. He always says Zachary, but he's bad. Just a little ADHDish if you asked me, but not BAD!
Listening to a Thanksgivng story. There are 18 kids in Joey's class. There are 18 kids, boys and 9 girls.
Alex's class had a "feast" with the class across the hall.
40 Pilgrims and Indians!
The songs were great!

Run Turkey, RUN!

Gobble, gobble, gobble

School Halloween Parties

Friday was the school's halloween parties. I am Joey's room mom so I had to be at his class but Brodie wasn't busy so he was able to hang with Alex's class. I was glad. It's tough having two in school now. How do I divide my time?Joey's class painted pumpkinsThen watched as the older kids paraded around.Alex's class freeze danced and did a conga line

Then paraded around outside One of the other moms' from Joey's class made this great melon brain. It looked cool.

The kids had a great time and so did Brodie and I!
