Hanging with Alena

A couple of weeks ago, Alex's friend from school who lives just up the street came over to play for a little while. Her name is Alena and she and Alex are great friends. They had so much fun playing. They played Barbies, and Ponies, and board games. But mostly, they played outside. It was such a nice day that we filled up the kiddie pool. Brodie found a frog and they torchered it for bit. As you will see, Alena is not afraid of frogs in the slightest bit. She played very nice with Joey as well.Alena, Alex, and the frog

"Happy Birthday to You"

Through the Years

When Mom & Mike got together some 15+ years ago, we were almost a regular Brady Bunch. Mike was divorced with 2 kids and Mom divorced with 3. I was 16 and in my Senior year of high school. Then it wasn't long before I was off to college. For the longest time, I always felt his family was his family and ours was ours. Over the years we had our differences and I was worried when Mom got sick how things would turn out. One thing is for sure today, Mike will always be Pappap and he will always be family. Same goes for his kids. We really have meshed together over the years. Even though Mom is gone, I am greatful they found each other. We love you Mike.

Wildwood

It's that time of year again and the boardwalk is opened on the weekends. The kids were so excited when we took them up on friday night. We were pretty excited too. We love those Wildwood days!
Joey still loves the kiddie train.Alex loves the "Tilt-A-Whirl". We rode it twice. Waiting for us to get off the rideRiding the kiddie motorcycles. She was not really thrilled. Joey was, despite his picture
Joey played the ring toss and won him and Alex a blowpop.

My Girl

My punkin is a beauty in so many ways. I love her to pieces. She amazes me every day.Daddy gave her braids and this is what it looked like when we took it out.

Mother's Day 2009

For Mother's day, we went to breakfast at the Rusty Rudder in Wildwood with Mom and Dad and Aunt Lisa, Uncle Bruce, and my Mommom and Poppop. Then Me and the kids went to the zoo with Mom and Dad. It was a nice day.

This was a real smile from Joey because he took Poppop's hat. =D

Happy Birthday Brandon

My not so little brother Brandon is 8 years younger than me but significantly taller than me. A good 4-6 inches at least. He turned 24 this year today. We didn't get to see him for his birthday but I wanted to share some pictures of him. I didn't have a digital camera until I met Brodie so the earliest I will post is 2003. Yes, I have a scanner but do not have the time or desire to search my attic for others.

A common factor in all of these photos is that my brother is fun. Silly, but fun and always has been. Even though there is 8 years between us, he has always been close to me. I used to do all kinds of things with him. He always visited me at college and I've taken him to Ozzie concerts. I love him to pieces and so does his nieces and nephews. Happy Birthday Bran. You're the best little bro a girl could have.

May Procession

Alex's school had their May procession today in honor of Mary. The children paraded around, while saying the rosary, to the statue of Mary which faces the parking lot. They presented flowers and crowned the statue and Alex released our birds. Afterwords, they had mass. My punkin is the child right behind the teacher, looking at the camera.

This is the video of the birds

Alex's First Visit to the Dentist

Alex finally had her first visit to the dentist. Although she was nervous, she did very well. She has 3 cavities which they will fill next time we go.

Joey went too but I didn't get his picture because they had him in and out of the chair very quickly. Besides, he's been to the dentist before. He has 5 cavities that need to be filled. He did very well too.

My good babies!
