Pre-Nuptial Party

For numerous reasons, The bride and groom to be, Megan (Brodie's cousin) and Brian, decided to not have children at their wedding. So to get both sides of the family together, they decided to have a Pre-Nuptial Party. We ate, drank, and had a really nice time. Parents of the Bride, Uncle Mike and Aunt Susan

A Day at the Philadelphia Zoo

I had never been to the Philadelphia Zoo (that I can recall) and Brodie had been and didn't want to go again. I knew that I could convince him to go again but cost was always a good reason for us not to go. Tom & Diane got a family membership that allowed us to get in free with them. So he had no good reason not to go anymore. We went up for the day at the beginning of March. It was nice. The zoo is pretty big. I felt like I never knew where I was. The zoo has a hot air ballon that is always anchored to the ground but takes people up pretty far. It was kinda costly and my Little Man would've been scared to death so we didn't do it. Overall, it was a fun day. Tom & Diane fed us lunch. We had a great time. Thanks Tom & Diane! Here's Joey, Brianne, & Alex at the elephant statue

I was disappointed because this photo didn't turn out but this is funny. My kids are very active as far as running, jumping, climbing. They are even borderline crazy at times. Diane once said something on the lines of Brianne does things a little more edgey after she been hanging with our kids. This is a prime example. This was the cutest thing ever. I was glad that I was able to catch it. When the Orangatang noticed the dog, he came right over to see him.
This was just neat.
There was a train that went in a circle. Of course, Joey HAD to ride it.
There was a litlle petting zoo. Joey had no desire to go inside. The girls were cute brushing the goat.
The four kids. It was difficult to get them all to look and smile at the same time.
I love this photo of Brianne looking at the ducks!
... and the cutest baby in the world...

After the zoo, we went to dinner at Friendly's. Brodie talked Alex into saying it was her birthday. It's not like you get anything free, they just sing to you. She was not ashamed at all.

Snow Day

Today was Alex's 1st snow day and the biggest snow we've had in a couple of years. We played in the snow a bit but it was too powdery to make a snow man. Maybe tomorrow. Getting ready.
Putting on the layers.
I measured 5 1/2 inches.
Alex made some snow angels. Joey didn't want to.
My honey loves his tractor. We had a big tree break and fell across the entrance of our driveway. He moved it with the tractor.Against my better judgement, Daddy gave Alex and Joey a ride in the tree while he moved it. Good thing he was going pretty slow. They enjoyed it. Here's a video:

Hanging with Haley

After Joey's party, Alex's cousin Haley came over to spend the night. The girls had a good time playing dress up and Ponyville Ponies. Haley falls right between Alex and Joey as far as age goes. She finds herself torn at times between the two. Joey loves his trains and wanted her to play with him and she wanted to also but really wanted to play with Alex too. Of course, Alex would not play trains so Haley played a little bit then went back to playing with Alex. They all had fun.

Joey's 4th Birthday Party

This year we decided to do Joey's party at McDonald's. It was easy and CHEAP! The whole party only cost 65 bucks. That's the cheapest birthday party we've EVER had! The kids had a good time too. All Joey wanted to do was open the presents.

This is Joey blowing out the candle on his Lightning McQueen cake that Mommy Campbell made him. He loved it but still wanted to open his presents.
Joey got some really cool presents. He got an electric Emily train from Pappap; A bunch of wooden trains from Mommom and Poppop Campbell; 2 packs of about 200 contruction trucks, fire trucks and accessories that are perfect for digging in the yard from Uncle Tom and Aunt Diane (yeah); a bat and ball and Kung Fu Panda movies from Aunt Lisa and Uncle Bruce, a trasformer and Pixos from Carly and Jeremy; a front end loader just like Mark drives from Jenny and Mark, a couple of Take A Long trains and a Thomas pillow that talks from Laura; and Joey's favorite ("that he always wanted") from Aunt Tracie and Uncle JP, motorized Henry, Gordon, Lady, as well as Nelson (he's a truck from Thomas) and a digging claw hand. Thanks everyone!
