Happy Thanksgiving!

This year, we celebrated Thanksgiving on Thursday with Brodie's family and on Friday with mine. It made it nice not to have to run around on the same day. Diane and her little man, Thomas. He has got to be the cutest kid ever. Next to mine of course.
Brianne and Alex allowing Joey to play with them.
We made cupcake turkeys.
Mommom and Joey making a Christmas craft.
Alex and Brianne's turn.
Thomas is as big as the turkey! He's 6 mos. old, wears 9-12mos. clothes and weighs 26lbs!

Every year for like the last 3 years, we've gotten a photo of the grandkids. This is this year's best attempt.

Brodie and I manged to cook our first turkey on Friday. We've done turkey, just not a 20lb one before. It turned out better than I expected. We had a great day both days. It was nice to see family that we don't see everyday or even every week or month.
I hope everyone had time to reflect on all the things that you have to be thankful for. Usually with the hecticness of the holiday, it's difficult to remember why we celebrate it. This year, we discovered how my Momma was the glue that held my family together. Without her, it sort of fell apart. My sister and I managed to hold our little pieces together but it just wasn't the same and it never will be. She is sadly missed by all.
